 Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is one of the famous festivals in Ilocos Sur. It celebrates Ilocos Sur’s abundant culture and traditions, and its separation from Ilocos Norte.A festival in the Province of Ilocos Sur commemorating the separation of the two Ilocos provinces in 1818. This festival is a showcase of indigenous performances, religious rituals, as well cooking demos featuring the best of Ilocano dishes.


As the Philippines starts to recover from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, fiestas and celebrations are starting to return, giving Filipinos a well-needed dose of levity. In Ilocos Sur, the provincial government officially launched Kannawidan 2022 early this month, with a bevy of activities aimed at celebrating life and spreading joy.


The officials of Ilocos Sur invited many artists, bands, singers, and many more. To complete the said celebration everynight there's a concert that held and the venue was lit , because their idol is the one who's performing. The Saniata Ti Ylocos , was also held and Saniata ti Vigan won the title. The Bigueños was indeed so happy by the end of the said Festival.

 My name is Anne Janeth A. Verzosa,15 this September 19. I lived in this Barrio from the town of Santa , province of Ilocos Sur, called "Nagpanaoan". I have two siblings; basically we're three sisters,  I'm the youngest yet the  tallest and sometimes act like a mom. My mom is an OFW for about 8-9 years now she basically come home every 2 years ,but didn't able to come home this year because of this pandemic. Almost all countries around the world needed to go through lockdowns to prevent the spreading of the called disease .
